The problem with MS this generation is they put too much hope into too few exclusives. Not all of Sony's exclusives were well received. But Sony released enough exclusives that some did shine and the ones that didn't weren't as glaring disasters as with MS. The saying "putting all your eggs in one basket" comes to mind.

Grabbed Dark Souls II...which means it will be a PS+ game next month.
They delisted the video because they were worried, just by watching a video on video game violence that it would incite kids to go on homicidal rampages. It was taken down to save the children.
Hopefully they release early 2019, like Sony did when they pushed HZD. The extra couple of months of polish turned out all right.
I wonder if they released it to the masses because a BB2 is in the works? Basically, giving it away enlarges the fan base.
Same here. I was on the fence about buying this or MHW. I'd decided to wait until more of he kinks are knocked out. But definitely want to play it down the road.
I just bought the game today and played about an hour. Never played MH games before. Excited to really get into it though its a bit overwhelming with all the tutorials.
Having a slight phobia of rats, I'm not sure I could handle this. But it looks very interesting as a game.

I think the premise will turn out to be more interesting than the actual game. I am interested in the game as well, but I'll wait a bit. I'm sure it will be patched to hell the first couple of months and I don't see it selling really well even if it gets good reviews. The price will drop fairly quickly.

I couldn't get into Witcher 1 & 2. And Lord knows I tried! But something just seemed to be off about the games. Either in the game mechanics or flow of the game. Witcher 3 I sunk about 90+ hours into. Great game.
A hardwired $5 Steam link has really opened my PC options as well. Cuphead and Ori on my living room TV with no lag. Thanks MS for giving me the option of not buying an Xbox.
